If you like walking, the village can also be reached on foot, and we certainly recommend spending an evening there, for dinner out or for an aperitif in one of its ancient and particular piazzas.
In a few minutes by car you can reach the beautiful villages of Montefollonico (10 km) and Montepulciano (12 km), which are well worth a visit and a stop, where you can taste the typical dishes and above all the prestigious and renowned wines of the area such as the 'Nobile di Montepulciano'.
Villa Scianellone is surrounded by lush, silvery olive groves, vineyards and meadows that are part of the property. If you decide to spend your holiday at Villa Leopoldina, you can stay in a historic building, a splendid example of a typical Tuscan house designed in the 18th century by the architects of Grand Duke Leopold of Lorraine, with the characteristic four overlapping arches on the façade. It will be a plunge into the past, when families were very numerous and these huge homes housed several generations under the same roof.
In front of the villa you will find the private garden and on the right-hand side the beautiful swimming pool (size 12x5 m, depth 1.40 m, completely enclosed - open from 01st May to 30th September). From here, every day, you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view over the city of Arezzo and its valleys, a view that becomes even more suggestive at night with the thousands of tiny lights that seem to chase each other. You will reach the centre of Arezzo in less than 10 minutes by car and here you will find all the necessary amenities and services, as well as museums, magnificent churches, cathedrals and monuments to visit.
One of the villa's bonuses is certainly its location. It is located within the Pomaio winery, a renowned winery that produces its excellent wines following the rules of eco-sustainability. Pomaio is listed as one of the 13 most beautiful Design Cellars in the Region of Tuscany for the Toscana Wine Architecture project, and this 'Green' philosophy was also followed for the renovation of the villa. In fact, thanks to the materials used, the villa has a high energy-saving rating, with positive effects both for the environment and for those who stay there in all seasons.

Agriturismo La Greppia is an old 17th-century farmhouse in typical Tuscan style. You will find it in the heart of the upper Arno Valley, on the slopes of the Pratomagno massif, surrounded by splendid olive groves overlooking one of the most beautiful and greenest valleys in Tuscany.
The three apartments retain clear traces of their origins, the exposed stone, the terracotta and wooden floors and the majestic beams, which will take you back in time, to the discovery of the region's rural customs. The property is set within a splendid 6-hectare estate that includes a vineyard, a beautiful olive grove, and a small orchard, while the fenced garden of approximately 7,000 square metres is home to centuries-old holm oaks, manicured lawns, rose gardens, rosemary bushes, and a variety of shaded relaxation areas. A stone-paved area between the pool zone and the entrance to the kitchen and living room features a beautiful pergola adorned with fragrant climbing jasmine, set up with tables, chairs, and a mobile barbecue, making it an ideal spot for alfresco dining and convivial gatherings. A second dining area is located at the side of the main entrance, where a long table positioned beneath the shade of centuries-old holm oaks invites guests to enjoy leisurely outdoor meals in a setting of timeless natural beauty. The non-heated swimming pool, open all year round, measures 25 by 5 metres with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2 metres, and is entirely lined in tiles with edges in local white travertine. Beschrijving van de accommodatie
Manor House "Filicaia" ligt op 150 meter hoogte in het landelijke Toscaanse gebied van Cavriglia, Italië. Het pand bestaat uit 5 afzonderlijke appartementen en biedt gasten een authentieke ervaring van het Italiaanse platteland. De uitgestrekte tuin rondom het pand vormt een rustige natuurlijke omgeving waar men kan ontspannen te midden van de Toscaanse heuvels.
Buitenruimtes
Het gedeelde zwembad meet 12 x 6 meter met een diepte van 120 tot 200 cm en is beschikbaar van 7 mei tot 24 september. Een buitendouche bevindt zich in de buurt van het zwembad. De tuin is voorzien van tuinmeubilair en nodigt uit tot ontspanning en buitendinen. Een barbecueplaats staat ter beschikking van gasten.
Praktische informatie
De accommodatie beschikt over een gedeelde wasmachine. Wi-Fi is beschikbaar op het gehele terrein. Verwarming is beschikbaar van 1 november tot 7 april tegen meerprijs. Er is een parkeerplaats ter plaatse. De eigenaar van het pand woont op dezelfde locatie.

Le Mura is een werkende landgoed in het hart van Toscane, gelegen op een heuvel binnen de driehoek Florence, Siena en Arezzo. Het gerenoveerde landhuis omvat 8 hectare omheinde gronden en wordt omgeven door wijngaarden, olijfgaarden en het karakteristieke Toscaanse landschap. Het landgoed ligt slechts 3 kilometer van het centrum van Bucine en produceert eigen olijfolie en DOCG Chianti-wijn; gasten kunnen deelnemen aan de druiven- en olijfoogsten in respectievelijk september en november. Het terrein wordt omgeven door bomen en open velden, wat een rustige en afgelegen sfeer creëert die verbonden is met het ritme van het plattelandsleven in Italië.
Buitenruimtes
De 8 hectare omheinde gronden omvatten werkende wijngaarden en olijfgaarden die gasten kunnen verkennen. Het gedeelde zwembad is voorzien van een interne trap en is beschikbaar van 20 mei tot 30 september; een buitendouche bevindt zich in de buurt. Een speciaal zonneterras biedt een ideale plek voor zonnebaden met uitzicht over het omringende landschap. Een speelplaats voor kinderen is uitgerust met een glijbaan en een schommel.
Praktische informatie
Het landgoed beschikt over een centrale verwarming die alleen van 1 november tot 15 april in bedrijf is; buiten deze periode worden kosten rechtstreeks ter plaatse berekend. Wi-Fi is beschikbaar op het gehele landgoed. Een wasmachine staat ter beschikking van gasten tegen meerprijs. Linnenwissels kunnen tegen meerprijs worden geregeld; kamerschoonmaak en volledige huishoudelijke diensten zijn op aanvraag beschikbaar. Het landgoed beschikt over een restaurant ter plaatse. De eigenaar kan gasten helpen bij het organiseren van culturele excursies in de omgeving op aanvraag. Het landgoed is geschikt voor het organiseren van evenementen.

Arezzo, bekend om zijn middeleeuwse architectuur en levendige kunstscène, ligt op 25 kilometer; Siena, beroemd om zijn kathedraal en de Palio-paardenrace, bevindt zich op 35 kilometer.
