Our holiday at Il Palazzetto was lovely. The home is exactly like in the pictures, no unpleasant surprises: tidy and with a nice garden. The view from the garden is spectacular and the village of Castelnuovo offers some nice restaurants. The location is great, with a lot of mountains. However, it is quite far from the touristic areas: Lucca, Pisa, the beach, etc, are at least an hour drive away.
Overall, we had a great time and definetely recommend this holiday home!
The villa itself was perfect for our needs as each couple had their own facilities. The kitchen and lounge areas were quite adequate, although the 3 seater settee was quite snug with 3 people on. The air conditioning was much needed and proved to be efficient. However, the access into and the parking area itself were both tight, even with only 2 smallish cars. The olive trees around the parking area were in need of a good prune as the branches were resting on the cars. We were very surprised when we were approached by some other people staying somewhere nearby who said that the owner of the villa had given them permission to use the pool without speaking with us first. We never actually saw them again, but a bottle of wine and a thank you card were left by the door one day, implying that they had used the pool. We all thought that this was very cheeky as we had paid for the use of the pool with the villa. Apart from that, we all enjoyed the villa and area.
Casa Cipressi is a first class villa providing an extremely comfortable stay. The pool is fantastic & a welcome relief are a long day out. The alfresco dining
area is glorious & the most perfect place to sit &
watch the sun go down. Staying at this villa made our time spent in Tuscany so pleasurable.
Nous avons passé 2 excellentes semaines à casa Anna. Le location est très bien située. Au cœur de la campagne Toscane mais à quelques minutes de badia a passiganano et de plusieurs restaurants et 15 min de Tavarnelle et permettant de visiter aisément la région ( sienne, Florence, san gilmigniano et de nombreux autres villages). La villa est tres confortable, bien équipée . La piscine très agréable et tres appréciable apres les ballades. L'accueil des propriétaires est agreable et discret
Second visit this year. Feel like home here. We are in love with this villa, property and area. Will return. This summer it was extremely hot in Tuscany, so we missed aircondition here. Diffucult to sleep so we bought to small table FAN. The villa is ideal for families with children in company with other family members or close friends.
Environnement magnifique,piscine àgréable.Un bémol sur l'appartement...le congélateur ne fonctionnait pas,et nous devions remplir un seau d'eau à chaque chasse car elle ne suffisait pas.1 chaine tv francaise,30 chaines italienne et 200 chaines arabes...à part ca c'était correct
Very clean great owners had a very well stocked kitchen no air conditioning but it cooled way down at night super comfortable. 30 minutes from Cortona but we still loved it. Loved the restaurant on site you need reseverations.
