Everything about our experience here at Tenuta Tizzauli was incredible. we really enjoyed the kindness of the staff, the swimming pool was amazing and everything about our Ginestra unit was absolutely beautiful. The surrounding area was stunning and visiting Florence and Pisa were highlights of our trip for our children. We all loved everything about Tuscany!! We would highly recommend anyone coming to this area to stay here!!

We could not recommend this property more highly. The owners are wonderfully gracious and helpful. We have rented several properties in Tuscany and this was the best by far. The grounds are immaculate and the bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. The pictures do not do it justice. It is close to everything, yet far enough from the highway and Autostrada that you feel isolated. Be certain to schedule a dinner with the private chef. She was wonderful!! The wine from the estate is also fantastic. Rent this villa and it will exceed your expectations. It certainly exceeded ours!

The weather was warmer than normal so a fan would have helped. people were very friendly and the villa was very good, especially the pool. located close to many places of interest but a little far from a market.

We loved Casa Tonio. It is a beautiful villa in a quiet, pretty setting in the hills above Lucca. It was perfect for our family of five. the owner was very nice and spent time showing us around the olive groves surrounding the house and giving us a history of the land. A family friend of his provided us with a home cooked meal that was one of the best meals we had in Italy. We would highly recommend Casa Tonio and would like to return some day.

The villa was outstanding. beautiful location and wonderful appointments. Owner is nearby and CARES. Speaks English and French. as well as Italian. Little town of Tavanelle has great restaurants and services. Only 2 km away. Located just minutes(less than an hour) from major tourist attractions. We grant permission to print all we have stated. The property accommodated two families comfortably and is well located close to the town. The owner and local people were friendly and helpful. The pool and garden are great for families with children. One small criticism would be that the kitchen could use a few more, bowls, plates, serving bowls etc.

We found a wonderful well kept Villa/ outside areawith an owner who did EVERYTHING to make our stay perfect!

Truly lovely house! My family and I spent a week here in mid June. We were 14 people in total and we all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. Each room, which are all very nice, has it´s own bathroom. The pool is big and has an amazing view over the Tuscan landscapes. The only minus with this house is that it´s situated in the middle of nowhere. It´s perfect if you want to spend a lot of time on the property or by the pool, but if you plan to visit different towns within Tuscany you´re gonna have to prepare for many hours in the car.

A lovely part of Italy, not over developed. Everyone we met was friendly and we liked that they could not speak English. Local food is good. Terrific villages to walk to surrounded by chestnut woods.
