At lake Saimaa own rowing boat (outboard motor for hire). Note! Motor boat in the picture is not for rent or in use. Lean -to distance 2.5 km from the cottage at lake Saimaa.

43 km to the northeast from Savonlinna, lake Matkonjärvi 20 m (length 2 km, width 0,3 km) hard, gently deepening sandy bottom, pier, rowing boat.
Wooden cabin 1985, renovated 1993, kitchen, living room with sofa bed for two, living room with curtains separated sleeping alcove (two beds), double bed in the bedroom (12 m²), outbuilding (available in winter) with bunk bed and spreadable bed for two, washroom with shower and WC, electric sauna stove in the sauna. Air source heat pump, Wi-Fi.
There is a barrel sauna (1970, renovated 2009) with a wood stove by the lake. Water to the sauna must be brought by using a bucket and it can be also used in the winter. Matkonranta

In 2021 renovated former farmhouse, kitchen/living room with a sofabed for two, bigger bedroom with a double bed (width 180 cm) and an old pull-out bed (width 70 cm and length 190 cm), bedroom with double bed (width 140 cm), bathroom (shower cubicle and toilet), foyer. Terrace at the beach end of the house.
The cottage also has a wood stove and baking oven. Ceramic hob and convection oven. The dishwasher is a small table model.
Telecommuting possibility (desk and chair) in the bedroom. Wifi-internet -connection.
Own separate lakeside sauna, dressing room (60 m), terrace. Water pipe from the lake to sauna by electric pump.

In the yard separate sauna building (sauna heated with wood) 25 m², including dressing room and other room. The other room has sofa bed (120 cm) as an alternative bed, fireplace and mini kitchen. Sauna building is available all year round.
A hot tub in front of the sauna building, the rental and use of it must be agreed with the owner of the property. Hot tub is use for april to november (not availabe on winter time).
