Juotas Village is a charming apartment surrounded by countryside landscape, located near the river Kemijoki. The apartment has been renovated and decorated in a traditional style. The farm has a workshop that manufactures leather goods and a café. There are two Finnish horses grazing in the yard, possibility to ride.
65 km southeast from Rovaniemi city center. No own beach. Distance to the river Kemijoki is 500 m, lean-to shelter and boat ramp located on the beach. Public swimming beach by the artificial lake Juottaa, distance 500 m.
Gable apartment in a row house containing three apartments in total. The house is log-built (board lining, interior walls partially covered), former apartment in village school building, built in 1947 and renovated in 2015.

A holiday cottage in the beautiful lake landscape of Lapland on the shores of Lake Olangonjärvi, part of the large lake Simojärvi. The two-story, versatile cottage offers a great setting for both summer and winter tourism. From the lean-to, you can admire the northern lights blazing in the sky or the nightless night right by the lake from the campfire. The cottage is surrounded by the hill marshes and the wilderness of Lapland.
The cottage, built in 1991, has a double bed upstairs and a fold-out bed for 1-2 (both 160 cm wide). Upstairs there is also an alternative bed for children a fold-out bed with a 15 cm mattress (bed length 188 cm). Downstairs there is a fold-out futon sofa bed for 1-2 (140 cm wide). The heart of the well-equipped living room and kitchen is a soapstone fireplace. A modern design air-to-air heat pump makes the house efficiently warm in the summer and cool in the summer. There is also a bathroom-toilet and an electric sauna downstairs.
The traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna is located right on the lake shore. You can swim directly from the pier into the lake. In front of the sauna is a shallow and hard natural sand beach, which deepens after the pier and turns into soft mud. It is possible to use the lakeside sauna all year round, but ask the owner for permission, if you want to heat it in winter.
The shallow Olangonjärvi lake is ideal for paddling. A two-person canoe and a one-person kayak are available. There is also a boat equipped with oars and a small outboard motor (5 hp) for fishing; the use of the outboard motor must be agreed separately with the owner. The one-kilometer-long Olangonjärvi lake is connected to the 33-kilometer-long and 90-square-kilometer-wide Simojärvi lake, which is famous for its fishing opportunities. Het meer Särkikämä strekt zich direct voor het huis uit met een lengte van 4 km en een breedte van 2 km; het heeft een ondiep, hard zandbodem die ideaal is voor zwemmen en wateractiviteiten. Een privésteiger en een boot behoren tot de beschikking van gasten. De open veranda biedt een aangename plek om te ontspannen en van het natuurlijke landschap te genieten. De sauna aan het meer meet 15 vierkante meter en is het hele jaar beschikbaar; deze beschikt over een kleedkamer, een open veranda, een ketel, elektrisch licht en verwarming. Een verhuurbare, voorverwarmde hottub kan tegen meerprijs worden geboekt; het verzoek dient uiterlijk 3 dagen voor aankomst bij de eigenaar te worden ingediend. De hottub is olieverwarmd en volledig geautomatiseerd met een thermostaat die het water op een constant aangename temperatuur houdt; de eigenaar zal gasten persoonlijk instrueren in het gebruik en int het gebruikstarief ter plaatse. Op het terrein zijn een hondenverblijf en een 50 meter lange looplijn beschikbaar voor gasten met honden.
Praktische informatie
De accommodatie is uitgerust met dvd- en karaoke-apparatuur. Wi-Fi 4G is beschikbaar ter plaatse. Het opladen van elektrische auto's of hybride auto's is niet toegestaan, omdat de grondwarmteinstallatie ter plaatse beschadigd kan raken bij elektrische overbelasting.

Dit houten vakantiehuis ligt in het hart van Lapland, in Lupaniemi, ongeveer 58 kilometer zuidoost van Rovaniemi. Het huis werd in 1970 gebouwd en is volledig gerenoveerd en gemoderniseerd. Het biedt onderdak aan maximaal 4 gasten; met het optionele bijgebouw kunnen tot 6 personen worden ondergebracht. Het interieur omvat een woonkamer met slaapbank, een alkoof met 2 bedden, een kitchenette, een douchekamer met toilet en een hal. Het vakantiehuis ligt slechts 20 meter van de oever van het meer Siika-Kämä, dat 2 kilometer lang en 800 meter breed is.
Buitenruimtes
Het strand heeft een zacht zand- en rotsbodem en loopt geleidelijk af naar het water. Een privésteiger steekt uit over het meer; gasten kunnen hun eigen boot gebruiken om het kalme water van het meer Siika-Kämä te verkennen. Tijdens de zomermaanden bevindt zich een kampvuurplaats op het strand. The 100 square meters of the cabin offer plenty of space even for a larger group. Upstairs there is a bright living area with direct access to the terrace to enjoy the sounds of nature and the view of the water. In addition, upstairs there are two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm double bed, the other with two 80 cm wide beds.
