In the yard, located 20 m from the lakeshore, there is a log-built lakeside sauna with a loft that has two additional sleeping spaces. Villa Vehmas is a charming, cozy cabin ideal for a peaceful holiday, situated on a sunny grassy plot.
Located 70 km northwest of Heinola, Lake Päijänne 25 m, with a gently deepening sandy bottom, own pier. A canoe and rowing boat available.
The wooden villa, originally built in 1991, was renovated and expanded in 2024. The living room/kitchen includes a sofa bed for two. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other bedroom has a pull-out sofa bed for two. There is a bathroom with a shower, an electric sauna, and a separate WC. The spacious covered terrace, running the length of the house, faces the lake.
The lakeside sauna was built in 1994 and renovated in 2024. The fireplace room has a refrigerator and a sofa bed, providing two additional sleeping places during the summer. The sauna has a wood-burning stove and a water cauldron.
In winter, it’s possible to create an ice hole for swimming, with equipment available at the cabin. The owner can also prepare one for you for a fee of 30 euros, payable in cash on-site.
