The house sits in calm and child-friendly surroundings, by a small fishing lake in the village Lauvdalen. A dramatic mountain landscape surrounds the town, with a stunning view of the fjords from the top. The midnight sun lights up the spring and summer nights, and you might want to sit on a mountain top all night and enjoy the beautiful view. There are several fishing lakes in the area, the closest is 30 meters from the house. Here you can go swimming or fish for trout. The house has a big and sunny terrace with a great view of the water below and the mountains around. This is also a great starting point for road trips around Lofoten, to the Viking Museum in Borg, the golf course on Gimsøya or Lofotens most popular beach Haukelandsstranda.
