86 km west of Joensuu, Lake Varisvesi/Leppäsalmi 20 m, shallow, hard sand/rocky bottom, own boat. Wooden cottage 1970, renovated 2017, living room-kitchen and washing room. Dry toilet (eco) in the cottage. Separate outdoor building with double bed and bunkbed. Separate lakeside sauna. Campfire by the beach. Small cottage for summer use for small families. Nearest neighbour is not to be seen from the cottage. Drinking water from Kosula village shop 12 km, where also WLAN. Cold water from the lake to the kitchen, in the washing room also warm water, shower and dry toilet. Good possibilities for picking mushrooms and berries. Karvio rapids 20 km with good fishing possibilities. Lintula convent 12 km and Valamo monastery 30 km. From Valamo monastery cruises during the summer period.
