Het meer Saimaa ligt op slechts 350 m van het vakantiehuis en beschikt over een ondiep strand met een hard zandbodem. Dit gedeelde strandgedeelte wordt zelden door de eigenaar gebruikt, wat gasten een rustige en privé ervaring garandeert. Daarnaast beschikt het pand over een eigen privéstrand, bereikbaar per auto in ongeveer 700 m of te voet via een wandelpad van 500 m. Op dit privéstrand bevinden zich een steiger en een boot voor gebruik door gasten, wat mogelijkheden biedt voor vissen, roeien en het verkennen van de omliggende wateren. Een afzonderlijk saunagebouw van 10 m² staat op het terrein, uitgerust met elektrische verlichting en een koudwaterleiding. Een rooksauna is op aanvraag beschikbaar. Het vakantiehuis beschikt over twee open veranda's en twee glazen veranda's. Een carport biedt beschutte parkeerruimte op het terrein.
Praktische informatie
Het vakantiehuis beschikt over elektrische verwarming. Een afzonderlijk bijgebouw van 32 m² is op aanvraag beschikbaar als aanvullende accommodatie met een slaapkamer voor 3 personen en een slaapkamer voor 5 personen; dit bijgebouw is voorzien van elektrische verlichting, elektrische verwarming en een elektrisch toilet dat alleen in de zomer operationeel is. Het bijgebouw is onderhevig aan een afzonderlijke wekelijkse toeslag. De rooksauna op het terrein is op aanvraag beschikbaar en vereist voorafgaande boeking. De sauna in het hoofdgebouw is voorzien van een elektrische kachel; het afzonderlijke saunagebouw werkt eveneens op elektriciteit. Een carport ter plaatse biedt beschutte parkeerruimte.
Afstanden en bezienswaardigheden
Mikkeli, een van de belangrijkste steden van de regio Zuid-Savo, ligt op 30 km en biedt een breed aanbod van winkels, restaurants, diensten en culturele attracties. Het meer Saimaa, een van de grootste en meest beroemde meren van Finland en Europa, ligt in de onmiddellijke nabijheid. De omgeving biedt uitstekende mogelijkheden voor zeilen, zwemmen, vissen, fietsen en wandelen; het wandelpad naar het privéstrand vormt een aangenaam kennismakingsmoment met het lokale landschap. Beschrijving van de accommodatie
Dit indrukwekkende houten huis van twee verdiepingen ligt in het rustige Hakoniemi in Finland en biedt een comfortabel verblijf voor families en groepen die natuur zoeken. Het huis werd in 2016 gebouwd en combineert eigentijdse constructie met de warmte en het karakter van traditionele houtbouwarchitectuur. De begane grond beschikt over een ruime keuken-woonkamer van 40 m², een hal, een vestibule, een wasruimte, een elektrische sauna, een apart toilet, een slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed en een tweede slaapkamer met 2 bedden. De eerste verdieping heeft een lobby met een pooltafel, een apart toilet, een slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed, 2 verdere slaapkamers elk met 2 bedden, een slaaphoek met een slaapbank voor 2 personen, en een balkon met uitzicht op het landschap.
Buitenruimtes
Het terrein beschikt over 3 terrassen op de begane grond die ruimte bieden voor ontspanning en buiten dineren, terwijl het balkon op de eerste verdieping uitzicht biedt op het bos en het meer. Een eigen sauna in de tuin met een houtkachel is het hele jaar beschikbaar en heeft een kleedkamer en terras; deze sauna is voorzien van elektriciteit en water via een slang. Aan de oever van het meer Koivujärvi, op slechts 250 m van het huis, bevindt zich een afdak aan het strand. Het strand zelf is hard, zacht hellend en rotsachtig van karakter. Het huis beschikt over een eigen boot waarmee het meer kan worden verkend.
Praktische informatie
Het huis is uitgerust met een luchtbronwarmtepomp die zowel verwarming in de koudere maanden als koeling in de zomer verzorgt. Een elektrische sauna op de begane grond biedt een gemakkelijke badoptie. Een kinderbed en een verschoontafel zijn beschikbaar op de eerste verdieping. De pooltafel in de lobby boven biedt recreatie voor gasten van alle leeftijden. Te vermelden is dat zwemmen niet mogelijk is op het terrein en er geen steiger beschikbaar is aan de waterkant.

Het huis ligt ongeveer 70 km zuidwestelijk van Iisalmi, een plaats met winkels, restaurants, diensten en culturele attracties. Het meer Koivujärvi bevindt zich op slechts 250 m van het huis en biedt een prachtige natuurlijke omgeving voor boottochtjes en recreatie aan het water.
