The former school building in Kelloselkä, Salla, has been converted into cozy holiday apartments. Renovated in 2024, this apartment is located just 16 km northeast of Salla and serves as an excellent base for hiking, snowmobiling, hunting, and other outdoor activities in Eastern Lapland.
The apartment features a spacious living room and a roomy kitchen. A bedroom has a 160 cm wide double bed. The washroom includes a shower and WC. In shared use with another apartment: a sauna, washing facilities, washing machine in the basement, and a tepee in the yard.
The apartment provides great opportunities for winter activities; a cross-country ski trail starts directly from the yard, a snowmobile trail network runs just a stone's throw away, and Salla Ski Resort is less than a 30-minute drive (approx. 26 km). Wooden hut with a partial glass roof (for watching northern lights), built in 2018. Ideal destination in winter time for observing the northern lights and the night sky from indoor.
