This villa and stay exceeded all our expectations. We cannot speak highly enough of the setting, the villa itself and specifically about our hosts Sergio and Stephano. The meals we had at Villa Fabroni were excellent, great atmosphere and friendly service. Pyne cooking school was very informative and entertaining. Sure the drive up from San Polo is a little challenging but it is well worth the effort - you just need to take your time.
We, beeing an extended family of 11, stayed in Palazzo Rosadi over Easter and had, despite beeing extremley unlucky with the weather, a fantastic time. The villa is altogether fantastic. Beutiful both from the outside and the inside, nicely furnished and equipped, not at all as sterile as rental villas can appear. The gardens, the breathtaking views and the surrounding Forests brings a desired calm to the stay. In summertime this must be truly Amazing with the nice swimmingpool in the center. The surrounding offer great opportunities for nice walks or running. Tabletennis in the neighbouring villa and tennis in the village. The owner, Rosado Rosadi, is truly welcoming, helpful and nice and came to immidiate assistance at the slightest issue. He helped guide us to great restaurants, go for all his recommendations, offered ideas of what villages to visit and accompanied us to the ancient monestary in the Mountains, well Worth a visit. At the restaurants, that he booked for us, we where very well taken care of. Lastly he introduced us to the family that owns the small supermarket in the village. The level of service and Product there was exceptional to the extent that we had to go shopping there every day. We really hope to be able to go back and we give Palazzo Rosadi our highest score.
A delicious, beautifully situated house. Tastefully furnished and equipped. We were there with 17 people (adults and children) and have three days allowed to stay. A memorable long weekend.
Tutto bene, la casa è davvero carina, pulita, comoda, in una zona strategica e Giovanna è una signora gentile e molto disponibile. Unica nota negativa il wi-fi che non funzionava.

Our group of family members ranged from age 17 to 76-three generations. For our first night we had 4 extra and the lovely owners provided extra cots for us to include our other traveling family. The villa is beautiful, the beds comfortable, the scenery very peaceful and pretty. We had a cooking lesson in our own house and the villa accommodated our experience. All prearrangement were properly handled. We rented a large Van at the airport and were able to use it to drive 9 peopleto Lucca and back and forth to Montelupo for dinners and to the train station for our trips into Florence. We did a big tour of Siena and other towns in 2 vans with drivers/guides. We had a wonderful experience.
Wonderful place! It was our first time to Italy and Villasenia was a perfect place to stay. The owners were very helpful and greeted us with a welcome buffet of food and wine. The owners live right next door and were very helpful when we had any questions. They were there when we needed them but also let us have our space. This house was located on a hill covered by olive oil trees and beautiful view!! Would definitely recommend Villasenia for anyone looking to vacation in the Tuscany area. Close to the train station and easy to get to Florence and Rome.
I booked the villa as a special;l birthday present for my wife so she could enjoy a holiday and the company of our lovely family; 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 3 son-in-laws. The villa offered a great base to visit Florence and Pisa - we could also easily have visited Lucca and Siena but chose to enjoy the villa and its facilities. We did however visit and dine out in the beautiful town of San Miniato - a must see town offering interesting buildings and stunning views, oh and great Tuscan food (White Truffle). My wife remarked the photographs on-line did not do the villa justice and was mesmerized by the panoramic views from the villa and enthralled by the lower garden, swimming pool and Table tennis play area. The villa's Barbecue area is good fun and we utilized the facility twice enjoying the night air and playing various card games. I cannot thank the owner enough for the clean, beautiful villa which has an interesting history and lovely rooms and period furniture - the beds were extremely comfortable.
