We loved this place! It was the perfect base for a Tuscan holiday. Peaceful and idyllic location yet does not feel isolated. Wine, olive oil and fruit on arrival was a nice touch, as well as filtered still and sparking water available on site with glass bottles provided was great!
The outdoor area and the pool look beautiful and maintained, and the owner is super friendly, beautiful plants, vegetable garden, table tennis table, etc.
The cottage itself was a bit disappointing for us, it is very dark and the lighting was not quite optimal (there were several lamps broken, including the light from the hood), insect screens were broken or missing and they are really necessary, there are very lots of mosquitoes.
Certainly a plus that it is on the ground floor with a beautiful private garden, a disadvantage is that there is a lot of trouble from the upper floor, especially the sliding of chairs makes a lot of noise. (felt pads under the chair legs might be an idea)
We certainly had a good time, but next time we will go for something without neighbors upstairs (this one is also there, but was already reserved)
Appartamento pulito e funzionale, comodissimo per la posizione centrale, vicino agli impianti di risalita e a tutti i servizi. Bella terrazza attrezzata, sul fiume con vista monti. Arredamento tipico e accogliente. Proprietaria gentilissima molto disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
Ci siamo trovati veramente bene,abbiamo trascorso una settimana in totale relax in un posto splendido. Siamo stati accolti dai proprietari che ci sono venuti incontro per ogni richiesta,molto cordiali e anche gentili per averci regalato vino,biscotti e anche i prodotti del loro orto,la casa molto accogliente e ben curata e anche particolare con il suo stile country. La chicca e di certo l'ampio giardino con una bella piscina in cui rilassarsi. Grazie per tutto.
Over all a very nice house. Nice pool, very good equiped kitchen, nice bedrooms and nice bathrooms. But there are three little things. At first, there are only two sunbeds, and four sunchairs. For a house that is designed for eight people it is not enough to chill at the pool together. Secend, there is a deep slope next to the pool with no or only a litte fence in front of it, so water toys like balls or other stuff often roll the the hill and you have to put your shoes on to get them back and thrid, because of the mountains the pool and the house are in the shadow at around 6 pm (Last august week). But there the owner can not do much ;). And fourth we did not get the TV runing and the TV did not have a HDMI input. That was very sad for us. The owner of the house is very polite and they contact you on week before you came there by WhatsApp what makes it very easy to communicate with her (when you have internet, beacause in the house and the surroundings we had not have internet).
Conclusion: The four things is said are only litte things and for that price the house ist very good. I can only recommend it.
Bellissima struttura immersa nel verde delle colline del mugello. Panorama incantevole. A mio parere la cucina e le sue dotazioni andrebbero rivedute. Il supporto onsite di Giovanna eccellente ; gentilissima e super disponibile. Suggerisco che il costo dei consumi dell'energia elettrica venga incluso nel prezzo dell'affitto a titolo forfetario e non conteggiato a fine permanenza.
