Helpful friendly staff, there is even a nice bbq area for common use. There is no such panoramic view from the terrace as one could suggest, if you know for example southern tuscany and lonely villas there. Bu tnice and clean, woul recomment to only book Bigattiera 4 as that is the only one with a terrace. With this kind of weather, an must imho. Very nice pool area, kid's pool, walking grounds, overall rating 9/10. Ideal solution for couples with no kids.
WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PROPERTY! We wanted an "out of the way", rustic farmhouse, but with some of the comforts of home and this was the place. This was far enough away from Florence that you felt like you were in the country, but close enough for fun in town. The owner's were delightful and non-intrusive. We had most of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen and were able to have friends over for a couple of cookouts by the pool. Simply fantastic experience!
Have just got back from a lovely holiday in Tuscany. What a lovely villa we stayed in. It is located within a vinyard and in private grounds. Loved the swimming pool and the bbq area. An easy drive to the local supermarkets and attractions. Loved seeing the fireflies at night. Could not have hoped for a better place for me and my family to stay. Everything was perfect.
Villa Fabbroni was absolutely wonderful. We rented the apartment La Fattoria in late May, and despite the fact there was no air conditioner, we were very comfortable. The rooms were immaculate, the grounds were incredibly well-kept, and the hosts were better than you could ever ask for! They really made the stay very enjoyable. Their dog Raul also added to the enjoyment of the stay--what a great pet! The villa is well-situated, not far from the SS222 (Chianti Road), and is a hop skip and jump away from many vineyards to tour. The road to the villa is a bit nerve-wracking, but you get used to the drive after a day or two. What an enjoyable experience! If we have the opportunity, we will definitely be staying at La Fattoria again.
We had a great time in San Romolo, the owners are really nice, they gave us home made olive oil, and bread, they were really nice, and the place is beautiful. we really enjoy. Thank you.
Very kind and warm welcome by Claudia with a huge bowl of delicious strawberries and peaches that lasted us all week. Beautiful old stone house in a lovely quiet area; nice and quite. The pool is the highlight, everything has been treated with great love and care. If you want to wind down and just enjoy peace and tranquillity, this is paradise.
The property was really well located in rural Tuscany, about 15 minutes from the Florence/Siena highway. There are a couple of restaurants and small towns nearby, plus the town of Certaldo about 20 minutes down the road with a proper Saturday market, a grocery store and laundromat. Not to mention the wineries around every bend.
The house was spotless, comfortable and the view is beautiful. It's basically the back half of the house and we were able to sit outside every night, overlooking the little olive grove and drinking a bottle of local wine. There's satellite TV, but very little is in English-not that there's much need to watch TV.
We had a lovely time, and if we're lucky enough to spend another week in Tuscany, we would definitely stay here again.
We loved the house Casa Vignolo. We enjoyed many "happy hours" on the front porch which allowed us to meet and greet the locals. The house was well equipped for 3 couples and local shops provided a wide variety of local produce. Thanks to Marina & Francesco for their warm hospitality. Our cooking lesson at their family home very capably steered by Marina proved to be one of the highlights of our trip. The house is well placed to visit the Tuscan area by car with easy day trips.
This was a gorgeous place to stay nestled in the Florentine hills. The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated in a typically Tuscan style. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. Even though we spoke on Italian, and she no English, we managed to communicate well enough. We were traveling with 4 young children 8/7/6/2 years, and they couldn't have been happier with the gorgeous pool and the beautiful olive groves that overlooked Florence and the Duomo. What a lovely place for us to explore Tuscany from and we couldn't have found more helpful and friendly hosts or lovely oil. Thank you
The villa was wonderful once we found it! The directions were not clear and after several phone calls to the agent and 60 minutes of looking for the villa, we finally arrived. We were looking for a sign on a gate which didn't exist, but the agent insisted was there. But from arrival it was fanastic!! Beautiful location, close to the village of Panzano. The owner was very helpful and friendly and we had a great time walking through vine yards and olive groves and visiting small villages.
