This apartment was the perfect location and the highlight of our time in Florence! Beautiful decor and balconies overlooking the plaza. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony in the morning and champagne in the evening. The restaurant Il David, on the first floor was a plus also!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Poggio Del Sole. Our family of 6 swam in the beautiful pool to cool down after our day trips around Tuscany. Looking out our bedroom window at the hillside town of Cortona was amazing. It was perfectly situated in the country side and for visits to Florence, Sienna, Cortona and the lake. The WiFi worked best out on the back patio. When following directions to get there the stone house (after which you turn left) is on the left hand side of the road and remember to bear right on the white road. We would highly recommend this beautifull villa but keep in mind only two of the three bedrooms have air conditioning. Our thanks to Alberto, our housecleaner and Hank for our wonderful holiday under the Tuscan sun.
We are very satisfied with our rest in Salou. The villa was great: a lot of spacy rooms, cosy furniture, clean swimming pool, laboursaving washing mashine. The villa is located in a very comfortable place. You can find everything necessary : a supermarket, lots of cafees, carting, Port Aventura Park and of course the sea. We were very sorry to leave this villa when we had to return back home. It was like our own home
Our 2 weeks at the villa were incredible. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and lovely. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a welcome part of the days where temperatures were between 90 - 100 degrees F. Meals in the main kitchen were great and perfect for hiring chefs (a must do). Gigliola and Lorenzo were wonderful and accommodating. The proximity to Cortona is fantastic. It is a classic medieval hill top town that is easy to visit, even just for dinner. We would gladly return here!
Beautiful villa! There were 6 in our party and everyone agreed that the villa could not have been better. The kids loved swimming every afternoon while the adults relaxed poolside. The views were spectacular and the grounds were beautifully maintained. It was a fantastic place to return to after a day exploring the area.
This was a 3 week family vacation for my wife and me, 4 children and spouses. The location, quality of the villa, and the warmth and hospitality of the Rosadi family made it especially enjoyable. I agree wholeheartedly with the other comments posted, and will emphasize the personal attention we received from Mr. Rosadi. His availability and knowledge of the area and its history added depth to our experience, and gave us confidence that we would be well taken care of in whatever circumstances should arise. His tour of the valley was very instructive, and brought us to places we would not otherwise have found.
The views from the villa and surrounding areas are magnificent and pastoral at the same time. The eye doesn't know where to look first.
This is truly a place to come to be renewed, to refresh relationships between family and friends, and enjoy the art, history hospitality and beauty that is Italy.
Do get acquainted with the proprietors of the local restaurants and the good people at the local grocery.
If you come, stay a while. The 3 weeks we had allowed our getting into the rhythm of Tuscany, and served to renew our spirits.

The villa and grounds were beautiful. We had great weather the entire time. It was a pleasure to have this beautiful place for three weeks. The owners were so helpful and kind and the meals they prepared were glorious. The sunsets helped to put a magical glow to our home in Tuscany. Everything was perfect!
